Mt. Baker Bathroom

This bathroom was an immense achievement in a small space. Featuring floor-to-ceiling handmade limestone tiles, a custom built soaking tub and tiled sink cabinet, in-floor heating, custom walnut wall-mounted toilet hardware and European fixtures this 34 square foot commode is universally regarded as a “pleasure to shit in.”

The design called for a “no-cut” tile layout, meaning that the framing in the room was painstakingly adjusted to within a 1/16” of the required dimensions. We  designed and fabricated the sink and cabinet to allow for waterfall tile inside and outside.

Additionally, all of the plumbing fixtures are from the UK, requiring research and conversion to play well with American plumbing standards.

The entire bathroom took several months from beginning to end, but the results were worth it.
